[1.3.1] Bottom Financial Quintile Admission Target
The Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Universitas Padjadjaran (Fapet Unpad) is committed to improving access to higher education for students from low-income households, particularly those in the bottom 20% income group nationally. This commitment is realized through collaboration with Universitas Padjadjaran’s central scholarship programs, such as the Beasiswa KIP Kuliah (Smart Indonesia Card for Higher Education) and Beasiswa Unpad Peduli.
Each year, Fapet Unpad allocates specific admission slots and supports efforts to ensure that prospective students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are aware of and able to access these scholarship opportunities. This initiative aligns with the university’s broader mission to foster inclusive education and develop future professionals in animal husbandry who are socially responsible and dedicated to contributing to Indonesia’s agricultural development.
[1.3.2] Bottom Financial Quintile Student Success
Fapet Unpad ensures that students from low-income households are equipped with the necessary support to successfully complete their studies. Scholarship recipients are required to maintain academic progress, while actively participating in campus activities and maintaining good standing in terms of behavior and ethics.
Academic advisors and student affairs personnel are assigned to monitor and assist scholarship holders throughout their academic journey. Regular evaluations are conducted to ensure students remain eligible and supported, contributing to high retention and graduation rates among students from financially disadvantaged groups.
