The Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Padjadjaran (Fapet Unpad) is committed to gender equality by promoting the active participation of women in academic, research, and leadership roles. Female lecturers at Fapet Unpad contribute significantly as researchers, department heads, and community leaders.

In addition, the faculty organizes and supports training programs and entrepreneurial initiatives that empower women in rural communities to become leaders in livestock and agribusiness sectors. These efforts help close the gender gap in agriculture and higher education.

Fapet Unpad conducts community service and outreach programs focused on empowering women in rural areas. These programs train women in livestock management, animal nutrition, and small-scale agribusiness. By improving their knowledge and skills, women gain better economic opportunities and become active contributors to local food systems.

The Faculty ensures gender inclusivity in student enrollment and activities. Male and female students are equally encouraged to participate in leadership roles, research, and fieldwork. Various student initiatives also promote gender awareness and inclusion in livestock and agricultural sectors.
