The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a shared agenda through 2030, agreed upon by UN member states in 2015. This agenda aims to promote peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. Consisting of 17 main goals, the SDGs encourage global action to end poverty, improve health and education, reduce inequality, and drive economic growth. These efforts go hand in hand with addressing climate change and protecting the oceans and environment.
